We will revitalise your dog with a luxurious deep shampoo. We will cut their coat, cut their nails & trim around their sanitary areas and lots more so they feel as great as you do after a pamper session.
Full Groom
When you drop your dog off at the salon, you will receive a brief consultation to assess the dog coat and behaviour.
We always discuss what is an achievable style and finish for your dog during the consultation.
Our full groom includes-
Since we are unable to assess the condition of your dogs coat before the appointment, we always confirm the final price on the day of the groom after reviewing your dog’s coat condition and temperament.
Please just give Jen a quick call if you have queries or just want to chat over everything before visiting the salon.
How do you dematt my dog?
De-Matting a dog can be a very painful process, it consists of pulling on the matted hair a bit like trying to comb a knot out of your own hair. Imagine that all over your body… That’s why we don’t do it. If your dog has a few knots, sure, we’ll get them out, but for a dog that is matted, this would be a hellish few hours and not something that we as dog lovers are prepared to do.
The alternative is to shave your dog, a much better idea. We always advice that we will need to shave your dog prior to starting, either during the consultation or we give you a call if we find more matting than initial assessed. We will never start a shave off for matting without your verbal consent.
We use blades that can seamlessly get under those pesky matts leaving your dog a lot happier to come back in to the salon and have another groom in the future. Yes, you may have a short dog for a while but guess what….. it will grow back very soon.
So please remember, when we says that your dog has to be shaved, it’s not to get at you, no one is judging anyone, it is simply what is best for your dog on the day.
See Terms and Conditions for more details on our de-matting costs and policy.
