Puppy Grooming

Spruced Up offers an introduction to grooming for puppies over three sessions, starting at 14 weeks old once fully vaccinated. It's so important to get things right from the start, so we gently introduce your puppy to grooming over a few shorter sessions.

The three sessions

1. 1st session — play and fun for 30 minutes. Puppies are introduced to the equipment playfully, and every puppy receives a puppy pack including a Greene & Wild toy and other goodies.
2. 2nd session — bath and brush, where puppies are slowly introduced to bathing and dryers.
3. 3rd session — bath, brush and their first puppy groom, including eye trim, sanitary trim, pad and paws trimmed, and a light first cut.

A follow-up groom is then scheduled, where your puppy gets a full introduction to scissors or clippers, depending on coat type.

Introduce your puppy to the grooming parlour this way and they'll be much happier — the sounds of the clippers and dryers will already be familiar.

Please book well in advance. First visits are typically scheduled as the first appointment of the day, to keep the salon calm and quiet.
